The DR `Pandora' hides a superconducting Helmholtz magnet, an Oxford Instruments dilution refrigerator, and a veto cup within its tall black box. Externally, there are field adjustment coils and counters, including the phototube for the veto cup built into the 80 K shield. The main magnet runs in persistent mode and up to 5 T. The dilution refrigerator reaches 10 mK (and has reached 8 mK) but can be used as an ordinary cryostat up to 30K.
