The ISMS Executive Committee decided at the µSR2014 conference in Grindelwald, Switzerland, to restart awarding two prizes to young scientists for excellent oral or poster presentations at µSR conferences.

The two ISMS Young Scientist Awards at the µSR2020 conference in Parma, Italy, held August 28 - September 02, 2022, were awarded to the following young scientists for their excellent oral and poster presentation at the conference:

• Charles Mielke III (Paul Scherrer Institute and University of Zurich)

• Muhammad Maikudi Isah (University of Parma)

The two ISMS Young Scientist Awards at the µSR2017 conference in Sapporo, Japan, were awarded to the following young scientists for their excellent oral and poster presentation at the conference:

• Rhea Stewart (University of St. Andrews)

• Yuta Ishii (Tohoku University)
